ACTEGA in North America is a leader in the production of water-based and energy-curable coatings, inks and adhesives for the printing and packaging sector. The diverse product range not only enhances the visual and functional attractiveness of paper, board, metal or plastic surfaces, but also improves their overall quality. Products manufactured in North America include those for the paper and board, flexible packaging and metal packaging market segments.
Company history
The company originally consisted of three separate enterprises. ACTEGA Kelstar was acquired by ALTANA in 2005, ACTEGA Radcure in 2006 and ACTEGA Water Ink Technologies (WIT) in 2009. These companies were merged into ACTEGA North America in 2016, forming one of the leading suppliers of specialty coatings and printing inks in North America.
