ACTEGA in Sedan, France, specializes in metal packaging coatings for demanding applications. These include closures, cans, monoblocs and tubes. The products manufactured in Sedan have become an integral part of our everyday lives. More than 40 years of industry experience with packaging inks and coatings make the company one of the leading suppliers to the major European packaging manufacturers.
Company history
The company was founded in 1993 with the acquisition of the Coil Coating business unit of the Akzo Group (Montataire site). In 2001, the can coating business of the French company Blancomme became part of the Sedan site. Since 2004, ACTEGA Rhenacoat focuses exclusively on coatings for metal packaging and thus contributes to ACTEGA's diverse portfolio.
