ACTEGA in Switzerland focuses on the production of UV-curable coatings for paper-based packaging, labels and flexible packaging. The coatings are ideal for finishing sheet-fed offset, web offset, flexo, flexo inline, hybrid, narrow web, gravure, screen and digital printing processes. Top-quality products are manufactured in the Swiss production facility, supported by highly competent application technology.
Company history
The company was founded in 1880 by the chemist Heinrich Boli-Salzmann in Zurich-Wiedikon, Switzerland, and began as a coating and paint factory. Since moving to Adliswil in 1953, the company has continued to develop. In 2020, the business was taken over by ACTEGA, strengthening its position as a global leader in UV coatings.
