About ACTEGA Terra
The site in Lehrte is the largest European production and development site for overprint varnishes for paper and cardboard packaging, flexible packaging, labels, publications and commercial printing. Water-based and DualCure coatings are produced for use in offset, gravure, screen, flexo and digital printing. The use of renewable raw materials in these formulations is becoming increasingly important.
History
In the 1970s, the company - at that point of time known as Joachim Dyes Lackfabrik - developed the first water-based coatings for the graphic arts industry. Today, ACTEGA Terra, based in Lehrte, Germany (close to Hannover), is a European market leader for overprint varnishes. Products are exported to more than 70 countries worldwide. Among others, ACTEGA Terra offers coatings for board, paper and film used in offset, gravure, screen, flexo and digital printing.
