ACTEGA Celebrates a Successful Labelexpo Americas 2024

At our booth, we focused on sustainable solutions like our new ACTKote UV Wash-Off Primer. Recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), this primer helps reduce waste and improves the recyclability of shrink sleeves. We also showcased our ACTExact^® SafeShield UV-LED low migration inks, ideal for food packaging with indirect contact with foodstuffs, as well as health, beauty, and nutraceutical applications. Additionally, we featured our energy-efficient UV-LED coatings, which create high-value visual effects for labels.

Much attention was drawn to the innovations Signite^® and ECOLEAF, both developed to reduce waste and enhance recyclability for various label and packaging applications. ECOLEAF allows brands to realize high-quality metallic embellishments while significantly optimizing resources compared to traditional foiling methods. Signite^® is a unique decoration technology combining zero-waste printing techniques with state-of-the-art application machinery, delivering premium decorations that further support the circular economy.

Visitors also had the opportunity to see our products in action at our partners' booths. At ABG, our coatings were demonstrated on a Digicon Series 3 during live demos, proving their performance in real production environments. Our SafeShield inks were running multiple times a day at the Nilpeter booth, where attendees could see the results firsthand and take printed samples with them.

All in all, we look back on a great show and would like to thank all the visitors and partners who contributed to the success of Labelexpo Americas 2024.
