ACTEGA celebrated a successful presence at Drupa 2024, which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from May 28 to June 7. Positioned across various touchpoints with our partners, ACTEGA experts engaged with many visitors to showcase the latest sustainable solutions and high-value finishing options. True to the motto "Meet us where you need us," we were positioned around almost every corner of the show to provide our expertise.

ACTEGA's participation at Drupa 2024 highlights our commitment to advancing sustainable technologies. Our barrier coatings, for example, attracted a lot of attention as ideal solutions to protect packaging from internal and external substances while meeting the rigorous demands of the packaging industry. With ECOLEAF, we presented our pioneering mindful metallization technology for labels and packaging that reduces the carbon footprint by over 50% compared to traditional methods.

In addition, ACTEGA highlighted its high-value finishing portfolio, including UV coatings, metallic effects, drip-off applications, and haptic solutions. Live demonstrations at our partners' stands provided valuable insights into the many possibilities of our products. Particularly in offset and digital printing, our coatings could be experienced in action in various halls. Visitors also had the opportunity to discover a great variety of printed samples and experience our innovative solutions and stunning effects firsthand.

At the show, ACTEGA also demonstrated its expertise in highly regulated markets. These included UV coatings for pharmaceutical labels, water-based heat seal coatings and overprint varnishes for flexible paper packaging with direct food contact.
